Oh, yeah, and I want to teach trading. Uh huh. And I'm the losingest trader you'll ever meet!
But, I'm incredibly persistent.
What I'm doing now is looking at hundreds of charts on Finviz. I try to pick one that looks good for a day trade, and then I go to Yahoo Finance and get a chart, 'cause their charts are really cool.
So, I pick a stock using a daily bar chart, and then I look at a 5 day chart. If I think it might be a setup for a trade, I save both charts, meaning I save screenshots. (What it looks like to me is, I want to look at a likely stock in the morning, and if it behaves right first thing, I'll trade it.)
So, for each setup, and for each trade, I'm saving a series of screenshots.
The problem is, if these aren't somehow organized, it'll simply be a mess.
I've set up a folder named "trading", and in it I've created a folder named "open". If I'm getting ready to buy a stock, its charts go in there.
Then I've got a system going where I name the screenshots so they get listed in the right order. It's a folder with lots of image files in it. If I don't name them correctly, they'll all be a jumble.
Thus, the first trade is 1_symbol, and the first chart for that trade is 1_symbol_1s_1.
Here's why:
All the charts for the trade will line up because the file name begins with the same thing: 1_symbol. Then _1s means it's a trade setup, so all the charts for the setup, of which there may be quite a few, get grouped together ... but if I just named them number_symbol_s then they would end up out of order, as I'll explain in a moment. If I name them number_symbol_1s, then all the setup charts will appear before all the result charts. Otherwise, if I just named them number_symbol_s, they would end up after the result charts, which I would name number_symbol_r, so I name them, respectively, _1s and _2r.
Tricky, huh?
Finally, setup charts are named, for example, 1_ibm_1s_1, 1_ibm_1s_2 and so on.
When trades are complete and setup and result charts are recorded, I'll move the charts to a "results" folder for future reference.
Wow, you know what? Systems are complicated! I am just getting started!

This post is called Trying to Think.
I want my blog to sell stuff to readers. Oh how I do.
It sounds crass. Really, it's not! I am crass. Well, no, I want to be crass. I'm Timid.
Selling is Important.
Learning to sell is important!
I'm trying to learn how to sell information about how to learn to sell.
Ha! I'm doing exactly what that guy was saying is scam scam scam scam scam!
How can I resolve my conflicted emotions vis a vis selling???????!!!!!!!!!!
Here ... I'm working out what I want to say ... in my sales letters.
I am very actively browsing the web for information on how to make money on line.
There are two ways. (This is in my mind ... another is bugging me: "mention me too.")
Stock Market and Affiliate Marketing.
I'm working on the stock market like crazy. But I'm writing about Affiliate Marketing.
Here's the thing: There certainly is no shortage of stuff to look at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The big problem becomes how to keep track of all that stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Oops ... the problem with blogging: It's backwards. First is last!
here's what I'm thinking:
one post listing what i've looked at during a day.

I'm kind of fasting. (See "about it".)
I just don't feel like being a munchie monster. I had breakfast, a bear claw, and I'm drinking cup after cup of tea.
Not eating hurts. Really, it just worries me. I did a little dance meditation a few minutes ago. No obvious result.
I'm gonna make a big plate of sandwiches some time, and eat off of those for a couple of days, if it works out.

spinning my wheels, doing this, that, the other thing. nothing looks completely likely to work. looking at affiliate offers. can i plug them in here? Will it work?
won't people think this is all stupid.
i'm gonna stay in all day, looks like. tomorrow, i'll just go out.
so, i guess i can keep going and going.
i must set up a PayPal account.

Leeeeeeeet's seeeeee. Really, I would like to live in fine hotels. Let's say $500 a day. No, let's say $1000 a day. I mean for everything. If I do that for a month, that's $30,000. For a year, then, $360,000. In other words, I don't need a million dollars right off. Not even close!
Virtual Reality in the abstract condenses all the stuff you love into sub-microscopic data records. Your art collections, your much loved junk, that you don't want to toss, because then you'll never see it again, your books and books of notes, your ever growing library, can all fit in your pocket, or, anyway, on a shelf in your closet.
Maybe that's not all it's for, but it seems to me that's a pretty important function.
Here I'm condensing diary entries into sub-microscopic data records. That means I can do more diary entries. It means I can be the mad diarist, recording fing everything in a super giant jotter that fits in my pocket.
The diary is a string of things. Strings of things - time lines, is what they are - are one fundamental architecture for VR. And Blogger is actually pretty good at creating them. (It is, after all, for logging.)
But the string of things is only one of two architectures for VR. The other one is Space. We've got Time Line VR and Space VR, also called 3D. For time line VR we have Blogger (metaphorically speaking). For 3D we've got nothing.
Blogger is Time Line VR for everyone. It's super easy to use. Sure, there's 3D, but it is not for everyone. Niche Niche Niche.

I want to record everything I do all day. It sounds crazy as hell, but I don't think it is.
I call this kind of thing a super-niche.
The thing is, you end up with a huge endless string of things you recorded. That sounds totally unmanageable, but if you think about it it's a super simple architecture.
I think we underestimate our ability to scan through long lists of stuff. In fact, if it's all divided into categories, it's very likely to become a mess, but if it's a long string of things, it may be long, but it won't be a mess.
Software can and probably will mess it up. For example, Blogger will divide the long string into many pages, and that sucks. It will divide hundreds of items into groups by month, and that sucks.
But, Blogger let's me post something on the fly, and it does land in a string of posts, and that ROCKS.
I think I'll change the settings to display a max number of posts.
